Funk Software announced a new release, Version 3.0, of its Odyssey Client. Widely used as a secure 802.1x wireless client in wireless enterprise networks, Version 3.0 offers Enterprise Wireless Client revisioning for rapid deployment across a large number of PCs, support for Netware single client login, as well as multiple usability enhancements.
Clients can be pre-configured prior to large scale deployments. EAP policies and auto-scan lists and new configurations can be selectively or globally deployed without user intervention. Client configurations can optionally be locked down.
