Yantra Corp. is upgrading its order and inventory management software suite.
Yantra 4.0, which will be announced Monday, is fully integrated with the Yantras dynamic business process modeling and provides new roles-based participant management, event and alert management and business performance measurement capabilities.
Yantra, of Tewksbury, Mass., provides a host of multi-enterprise e-commerce offerings that allow companies to respond to orders faster, drive down cycle time and improve order fill rates, according to officials.
Key features of 4.0 include a scenario management module, which is the next generation of Yantras business rules and workflow management. This module provides a visual tool for business process modeling of multi-enterprise order and logistics scenarios.
A participant modeling application in Version 4.0 offers improved collaboration features and includes a user tool for modeling and defining participant organizations, roles-based visibility and business rules that determine how each participants portion of the linked business process is managed.
A new interoperability framework increases the flexibility provided in the earlier version with a more scalable and reusable architecture.
A multi-enterprise catalog management module extends Yantras multi-enterprise suite by managing, aggregating and associating disparate item data across multiple entities.
Lastly, cross-enterprise analytics leverage data captured by Yantras platform to provide performance metrics, using Cognos Inc.s Impromptu and PowerPlay business intelligence applications, Yantra officials said.
