Mobile-Based Work Common in Most Midsized Organizations

In 69% of midrange companies, employees think mobile printing is “somewhat” or “very” difficult

Top types of documents midrange employees want to print:• PDF files – 76%• Emails – 72%• Microsoft Office Files – 65%

In midrange firms on average nearly nine out of ten (87%) employees printing from their mobile devices do NOT use Bluetooth as part of the process

In cloud printing a document:• Is uploaded securely and privately to the cloud service• Provides instructions as to which cloud-connected printer should be utilizedThis differs from mobile printing which could use any mechanism to print from a mobile device.Even so, it is most likely that mobile devices (tablets, smartphones, etc.) will be the initial cloud printing clients.

• Will start using, next 12 mos. – 9%• Already using – 16%

• Shifts management of printer drives to the cloud-printing service – 22% of respondents
