Motorola Droid Turbo Boasts 48 Hours of Power, Brilliant Display

The crystal-clear 5.2-inch quad-HD AMOLED display on the new Droid Turbo is impressive and includes a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen.

The new Droid Turbo can take some serious punishment, thanks to its outer case made of ballistic nylon or metalized glass fiber that’s reinforced with DuPont Kevlar fiber.

Powering the Droid Turbo is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz quad-core processor, as well as 3GB of RAM. Also included is a 3,900-mAh battery that promises up to 48 hours of power.

One of the phone’s best features is its included Motorola Turbo Charger, which gives devices up to 8 hours of additional power after only 15 minutes of charging.

The Droid Turbo features a 21MP rear camera with a fast F2.0 aperture lens and 4K video capture, as well as a 1.5MP front camera.

The Droid Turbo also includes Softcard, a payment app that stores credit card information and lets users tap the back of their phone over the Softcard symbol at checkout to pay for their purchases.

The MinuteCast app on the Droid Turbo provides just-in-time information about when it will rain, snow or hail based on your exact street address for the next two hours. Cool.
