Here at eWeek, all stories appear in PDF format for final edits and general polishing before they begin rolling off the presses—so Adobes Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC will allow me to increase by one the number of work-related things I can do with a handheld computer.
This beta version of Acrobat Reader, which is free and available now, isnt the first application to allow Pocket PC users to open PDF documents—Anysr Technologys Primer earned that title months ago. However, at a cost of around $80, I think Primers a bit too pricey for widespread use.
Adobes Acrobat Reader for Pocket PC opens full-size PDF documents and offers enough pan and zoom features to be effective even on small PDA displays. Cruise to www. adobe.com/products/ acrobat/readerforppc.html for more info.
